On July 23, 2022 a group of Californians came together to prove the power of kindness and generosity.
They organized an amazing fundraiser event in Topanga, California, to support Ukraine. They cooked Ukrainian food, arranged fun activities for kids and adults, invited talented musicians to play live, and gathered arts and crafts vendors to present their works.
Here are some numbers from the event:
- 12 organizers
- 9 volunteers (stretch, meditation, face art, astrology sessions, crafts vendors)
- 6 musicians who contributed their performances
- Over 150 tickets sold
- $7,702 Net raised
Scents of Ukraine contributed to the fundraiser and supported the event organization.
The raised funds were transferred to https://dobro.ua/en/ to support local humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
